Yield data from the first return banana harvest in Innisfail, QLD (28/11/2022) using BioFlora Soil Program

This year, BioFlora tested it’s soil bio-stimulate program for banana production in Innisfail, QLD. Following the harvest of the first return crop in November 2022, BioFlora conducted an analysis to determine the outcomes of our soil Bio-stimulate program on banana yields. Three separate programs were studied:

1. growers standard growing program,
2. growers standard growing program PLUS Bioflora Bio-stimulate Soil Program.    (BioFlora STD)
3. growers standard growing program PLUS Bioflora Bio-stimulate Soil Program plus Bioflora 5-17-4. (BioFlora R/R).

Overall, both BioFlora yields outperformed the growers standard growing program across the board, but BioFlora R/R showed a significantly higher net profit of $13,824.00 compared to $9,234.00 when using the BioFlora STD. In comparison, the growers standard growing program, net profit was $3,744.00. This demonstrates the effectiveness of using a high-quality organic product like BioFlora to increase crop yields and profit margins.

Both BioFlora programs outperformed the standard practise in terms of production costs. BioFlora R/R had the lowest production cost of $14.20 per box, while the standard practice was $17.00 and $15.20 for BioFlora STD, respectively. The study also found that using BioFlora increased yield percentages by 53% and 29.5% for the R/R and STD programs, respectively.

Overall, using BioFlora resulted in lower production costs and higher crop yield, generating significantly more produce per acre than growers standard growing program. Farmers have an effective and powerful tool to help them grow their businesses sustainably as well as profitably.
