GoCal® 6% Ca contains calcium which is essential for membrane permeability and for promoting root and leaf development and plant vigour. As a structural element, it is part of the cell wall matrix and acts as a cofactor for some enzymes like ATPases. It also acts as a second messenger involved in the phosphorylation of proteins and cellular signalling. It also plays a role in pollen development. Its deficiency leads to poor development and issues such as corky root of tomatoes.
