What are soil inoculants?
Soil inoculants are useful in agriculture because they help to increase plant health and productivity by attaching to plant roots to increase nutrient absorption. By creating natural compounds that suppress or inhibit unwanted organisms, inoculants can also protect plants from diseases and pests. Inoculants can be added to the soil at anytime. Best applied a little and often, starting at planting of crop.
Microbial inoculants can minimise the negative impact of chemical input and consequently increase the quantity and quality of farm produce. They are environmental-friendly and deliver plant nutrients to plants in a more plant available form.
