There are many different types of foliar spraying options, so choosing a formula or a solution that meets your needs should be straightforward. Keep reading to learn more about utilising foliar sprays to keep your plants healthy, as well as BioFlora’s extensive catalogue.
What is Foliar Spray?
Foliar spray can help a plant that is deficient in particular nutrients. Instead of placing fertiliser in the soil, foliar plant spray applies fertiliser directly to a plant’s leaves. Foliar feeding is similar to placing an aspirin beneath one’s tongue; the aspirin is absorbed more quickly into the body than if it were ingested. Comparably, A plant absorbs nutrients considerably more quickly through the leaf than through the base and stem.
When to use Foliar Spray
Foliar spray fertiliser is a great short treatment for stressed plants. However, it is always a good idea to build up your soil with plenty of organic matter too. Foliar feed should be sprayed first thing in the morning when the air is cool. Spray the plants with the mix to the point of run off. Add 2lts/ha Bioflora Fulvex, this will help the foliar mix to attach itself to the plant.
