Not All Fulvic Acids Are the Same
In previous blog posts, we’ve explained how Fulvex® – BioFlora®’s concentrated liquid fulvic acid supplement – can improve plant strength and crop yields, as well as how it may enhance micronutrient uptake.
But what about other rival fulvic acids? The reality is that not all fulvic acids are the same. We believe that Fulvex® stands apart from the rest, and here are a few of the reasons why.
You Can Tell a Lot by the Colour…
Because we only source high-quality nano carbon complexes deposited naturally within the earth’s crust millions of years ago, Fulvex® is harvested from multiple humate locations throughout North America. As a result, the nano carbon complexes in Fulvex® provide many unique properties and benefits relating back to the various original compounds and different environmental conditions under which they were formed. This sourcing from multiple locations gives Fulvex® a vibrant, dark, orangish colour similar to that of a ripe orange.
By contrast, other fulvic acids will likely be sourced from a single humate site and thus will not share this same diversity of properties and benefits. They will tend to be a light yellow in colour.
Alternatively, a dark brown colour indicates a fulvic acid that is inferior to Fulvex® for another reason. This sort of colour is seen when the extraction process has not fully removed the humic, producing a non-pure form of fulvic acid.
Size Matters!
Nano molecule size, that is. Fulvex® is manufactured using an organic patented extraction process that we have been successfully employing for decades. This process allows us to produce nano molecules up to 10 times smaller than those found in any other fulvic acid on the market. Thanks to this nano molecule size, Fulvex® is extremely bioavailable and has an incomparably high cation exchange capacity (CEC), emphasising its ability to bind with ionic minerals.
Other fulvic acids are typically manufactured using the classic (potassium hydroxide) extraction process, which reduces their beneficial content. Furthermore, it leads to a substandard product that is typically not organic or is biologically less effective.
Fulvex® Just Does More
Fulvex® is a fulvic acid that can also act as an ingredient. An antioxidant powerhouse, it is full of trace nutrients and potent electrolytes that work at the plant’s cellular level. These qualities result in a higher binding/chelating capacity and enhance cellular translocation.
When added as an ingredient, Fulvex® can enhance the performance of the formulation by enabling efficient micronutrient uptake, in turn adding value to your crop quality and quantity while increasing market value.
