5-3-2 nutrients

BioFlora 5-3-2 supplies the following nutrients:

• Calcium: an essential nutrient for membrane permeability, cell wall development, promotes root and leaf development and plant vigour.
• Copper: activates essential enzymes, assists in plant metabolism, and enhances flavour and colour.

Humic acid

Humic acid contains essential components for soil ecology and plant life. It also has a high diversity and concentration of microbes whose derivatives (enzymes, antibiotics, and growth regulating agents) biologically activate the soil. Using 5-3-2 to care for your almond trees

The care of an almond tree varies depending on the season. During the winter or dormant seasons, the tree should be pruned to promote growth and any debris should be removed from the base of the tree and sprayed with dormant oil to prevent pests and diseases.

During the spring bloom season, almond tree care should include the fertilisation of mature trees – using 5-3-2 NPK fertiliser. Drip irrigation should be started daily for newly planted trees and every other day for established trees. In the absence of rain, during drought or heat waves, irrigation should be increased every day. Furthermore, if the tree is planted in sandy or shallow soil, it will require more water. Throughout the summer, continue to irrigate and fertilise at the same rate as in the spring until harvest.

5-3-2 is an effective organic fertiliser for almond trees and growing almonds as it is high in nitrogen and phosphorus, two essential nutrients for trees. It is best to apply this fertiliser as well as irrigation during the spring. Drip irrigation should be used to water almond trees as it is a more efficient method that uses less water overall. Furthermore, it is important to water early in the morning or late at night to avoid evaporation.
